Error Message
OK everyone thinking caps on. I am currently posting this message from Vista
in "safe mode". I am getting the dreaded blue screen of death from windows in "normal" mode. I am getting an error message which reads "Stop 0x000000EA THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER (Q293078)" As anyone had this come up as anyone recovered from this error? I have no idea which device driver it's on about as I cannot get into Windows to find out Adrian |

Error Message
This issue might occur if the display driver is caught in an infinite loop
while it waits for the video hardware to become idle. This issue typically indicates a problem with the video hardware or that the display driver cannot program the hardware correctly. Try updating your display drivers from your hardware manufacturers website - http://www.nvidia.com, http://ati.amd.com, http://www.intel.com, etc. For more information about this error, please see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/293078. -- Kristan Kenney Windows Live Butterfly News and Experiences on Windows Vista and beyond: http://www.windows-now.com This post is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
