Basically you need to forward/open TCP Port 3389 on any firewall/router the Remote Desktop host computer is behind. Call using the public IP of the firewall/router as assigned by your ISP. If you have Vista clients connecting to a Vista host see this page... http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.or...endations.html If you have XP clients and a Vista host configure the Vista host like this... http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.or...rverConfig.jpg ....and the XP client like this... http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.or...ntSettings.jpg General help... http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.or...eshooting.html http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/win...remote+desktop -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows Networking) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us...
