HP Laserjet 3380
I have a 3380 connected to an XP computer using the PCL6 driver.
When I try to connect to it using Vista I get an error saying the monitor is not supported. I loaded the printer drivers in Vista using the lpt1: just to see what is available and I find that only the PCL5 driver is available with Vista. Does anyone have any ideas about what to do to get my printer connected? -- regards, Mark |

Contact HP and inquire as to the availability of updated drivers.

Thank you Richard, I have done this, though it is likely that HP will get
snowed under with Vista type issues. I was wondering if anyone had overcome this issue or had found new drivers. -- regards, Mark "Richard G. Sorry, the only possible solution will have to come from HP.
I'm not holding my breath, personally; since their "Get your FREE Vista Upgrade DVD" page was supposed to go live two weeks ago, then one week ago, now it's been delayed until "sometime in December". Best of luck! -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] * NEW!
