Hello, When the install gets to where its ready to start the desktop, my
screen will go blask. First with a blinking cursor line in the top left of the screen. After 3 or 4 minutes, the whole screen goes blank. When I reboot and get to the boot menu, the only choices i see are to either un-do the Vista install or boot to XP. There's no option to boot Vista. I'm thinking that there's an issue with the dual vid cards and I need to disable one in Device Manage in order to get Vista to start...at least that's what I had to do when using Beta 2 and a pair of 7800s. Is there any way to disable one of the 7950's cores? Any other suggestions/ideas? Here are my system specs: AMD FX-60 Watercooled w/Danger Den TDX Waterblock PC Power and Cooling 510SLI EVGA 7950 2 WD 250 GB SATA in RAID 0 1 WD 360 GB SATA (my backup drive) ABIT Fatal1ty SLI 2 GB OCZ Platinum Dell 2405FPW X-FI Elite Pro Logitech Z2300 2.1 Speakers Logitech G7 mouse Thanks in advance for any advice!!! ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
