Default Vista networking with XP wipes out connection

I recently purchased a new computer with Vista Home Premium. I connected it
to my network (3 XP computers on a linksys router) which was running fine.
The Vista eventually worked (although poorly) and the other 3 could not
access the internet. They showed up on the network, but no internet. Also,
the connection on the Vista gets lost frequently and is slow. I have to
continuously re-establish the broadband connection. However, Outlook on the
Vista sends and receives email quickly.
I have since, disconnected the Vista compter and re-connected the others and
they are working fine (after re-configuring settings).
Any suggestions?

Posting the results of ipconfig /all on vista and one of other computers may
help.
