Default Network Hard disk access, failure to logon

I have just bought this computer in order to replace a computer that got
fried. The network that this computer is connected to has a network hard
disk. The network hard disk is available as a web page and I can log on to
it that way.. However, I want to log on to the Network Hard disk as a
Networkplace and use a folder to see the files . When I try to map , oe
log onto the network harddisk a dialog box comes up asking for my user name
and password. I enter a user name and password that works (password works
with the webpage and other machines on the network) and kicks me out saying
the password or user name is wrong.. I have noticed that the User name is
capped after I go to put in the password.. Any ideas on how to access the
Network hard drive ?

Thanks
Dave

I managed to fix this problem by making an adjustment in the regedit ..

Thanks for all your help
