I have not been able to successfully share any of my files on my Vista PC
accept for my public folders. I have all my media on a secondary partition with sharing enabled and when I try to access that drive on the network, access is always denied. I am able to access the media via my XBOX extender. I am also able to access my files if I put them in my public folders. I have enabled file sharing on a private network and the drive is visible on other computers but access is always denied. I have enabled permissions for everyone. I have also enabled media sharing via WMP. When I search for media being shared from another computer also running Vista it does not find them. This is really ****ing me off. Why is this so complicated? |
