Default Intel sata raid driver will not install

I have the abit ic7max3 motherboard. When I try to install the intel sata
raid driver for the board i get a blue screen when trying to install windows
vista rc1. The driver install fine on windows vista beta 2. This is really
driving me crazy.

Don't know where I can get a new or updated driver. Any help and or
solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try updating your motherboard's intel chipset first. Go to Intel's homepage
for the latest chipset software utility. This may help.

I'm having the same problem... 5384 and 5472 installed fine. 5536 and 5600
blue screen right after I supply the SATA controller driver. Stop 7.
