YAIP (Yet Another Install Problem)
I'm trying to do an update to an XP Pro box.
I downloaded the pre-RC-1 from my MSDN account. The Hash code agrees with the one displayed by MS. I tried burning the DVD from three different programs and all said the burn verified properly after the ISO was converted and DVD burned. All the DVD's I created do the same thing. The "Collecting Information" section goes OK but the "Installing Windows" section churns away for a while and then stops with the only message being that it was unable to finish. No reason why given. I had no problems with older builds. What should I look for? Thanks in advance! Tom Lake
