Default can't hide “File | Edit | Tools | Help” toolbar in Windows Explore

Thanks for your quick reply, I tried method 4 but unfortunately it
didn't work. I should have checked the program's homepage first because
the answer was at the bottom of their own FAQ.

This below reg key seems to be another place that controls the menu bar
which might come in handy for anyone who reads this thread.

'QuizoApps: FAQ' (http://qttabbar.wikidot.com/faq)

I uninstalled QTTabBar. But menu bar won't hide! ( Vista )

Did you try to uncheck "Folder Options" - "Always show menu"?

There seems to be a bug on Vista explorer.
I got some reports that deleting a registry value solves this problem.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbar\ShellBrowser]
"ITBar7Layout"

The value will be recreated.
( If you edit registry keys and values, please do it at your own risk.
)
