Any way to retrieve the key?
Those of us that registered should be able to retrieve that info...

You getcha RC1 for the unwashed masses who buy the MSFTie toys no matter
what they ship in 72 hours or so--maybe less. Plan the neighborhod block
parties now. Get that champaign on ice and boogie down. Form a conga line
and do the Jimmy Alchin stomp toward mediocrity. Sinofsky makes the trains
run on time--but fails to notice they ain't on track.

Ballmer refueses to say what brilliant stuff he alludes to got left on the
cutting room floor but I can see plenty that should have made it in.

RC1is underwhelming to say the least. It doesn't "rock" unless you're
medicating yourself heavily. I'd like to find things pleasantly fixed but
can't. I'd like to find neat new developments but I sure can't. Yeah I read
all the ezines including the guys at www.pro-networks.org

I can understand why Brian Valentine got tired of fighting this mediocrite
and left for Amazon after the RC1 party Friday. I'd have been drinking a
lot of beer thinking about what I just released that hadn't changed
significantly and is essentially what will RTM.

Device Manager stays broken since the '95 Launch on August 24, 1995. It
can't diagnose a corrupt driver period. It does not browse properly to find
the driver files but you should and can to get drivers into Vista.

Toolbar stability on Win Mail's main interface--lol consider it one of the
MSFT games--"Win Mail pinball" --look up and a whole new batch of unneeded
buttons are on the main interface and the crucial ones may be gone.

Win RE team continues to fail to have a reliable startup repair. Welcome to
Vista launch.

I know there are synchophants for MSFT all over the place. I see it. It's
hard to watch. I know that there are cheerleaders whose level is "Vista
Rocks" lol if you see Aero Glass or some tiny gui improvement. The little
slider on Explorer must really excite you. Gee you can slide it and make
the icons go up to 2" wow! But the organization of Show in Groups is gone
that was in XP no matter how you configure Explorer. Third party explorers
will be rolling out in droves.
