Default Network with both wired and wireless

I have a linxys router that has wireless and 4 wired ports. Is it possible
to set up one network where i could access the wired computer from a computer
on the wireless?

Certainly. A WiFi router lets you connect computers by both Ethernet and WiFi.

Yes.

Have a read of the above.
I prefer to go through the router to set it up.

You set your network (SSID) up through the router after you log into it via
your wired computer. The prompts are pretty easy in the router software.

Also, set up WPA2 Security to stop neighbours stealing your band width.

Once it is set up, go to Vista laptop, click StartConnect To and follow
the prompts for a wireless network
