Hi! Please help. My Photo Gallery was working fine until a few months ago.
Now, when I select a photo to email, and I click the email button on the tool bar, nothing happens, it will NOT open a email window, and does NOT proceed to select size option. I noticed that many atleast get to the size option before it stops, but I cannot even get an email window to open. I tried setting all winmail as default program for mail, but that has not helped, as it was already the default. Can anyone help? Thanks. |

Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
Type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. -- Regards, Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] Windows® Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com "zestypasta" wrote in message ... It worked! It worked! Thank you so much. The scan said there are still some
files that could not be replaced (for some mysterious reason....this comp isn't six months old yet) but the photo gallery works now. I so appreciate your help! You're welcome!

Ramesh, that kb article talks about replacing the files which cannot be
fixed. Where should I get the good replacements? "Ramesh, MS-MVP" wrote: You're welcome!
