Hi!
I have a desktop computer running XP and a notebook running vista. The dektop is connected with a router via LAN, the notebook via W-LAN. Both are in the same workgroup. Both computer recognize each other and I can see the files in the shared folders on both computer. However, whenever I try to access a file stored on the XP machine from the vista notebook (open, copy, delete), XP gives up: black screen, automatic restart. The other way around it works fine. I would greatly appreciate if anybody has an idea, whats going on and hopefully how to solve this issue. |

Look in the Event Log on the Vista Laptop and see if you can find the
error message that is apparently causing the BSOD... You might also want to disable automatic reboot - See http://pcsupport.about.com/od/window...startvista.htm --- Jeffrey Randow Windows Networking MVP 2001-2006 http://www.networkblog.net On Sun, 21 Oct 2007 14:11:00 -0700, Carsten wrote: Hi!
