the online store. My firewall settings are fine and zune support keeps telling me to just reinstall the software...Please someone help!!! Since I get the same problem with both programs I believe it is a vista problem/setting. "wgeelan" wrote: I am having problems accessing Itunes store. Hello, I registered here in Vista forums just to post this message, hope this help people having problems with iTunes and having the same problem message as me: iTunes Connection Timed Out". The problem started yesterday, I read hours about the problem on the net, I turned off the router, reboot the computer, turn firewall on and off, I tried all what I have read, I can't list them all here. I even tried to re-download iTunes etc.. Nothing changed, I still have the same problem, could not connect to iTunes, and if connected it is slow, very slow, and most of the times it failed to connect saying the same message "Connection Timed Out". At the end, I've done some changes in my operating system Vista, and the problem has been solved completely: 1- In control panel I clicked security 2- In firewall, I clicked on allow a program through windows firewall, it took me to Windows firewall settings 3-I clicked on advanced 4-I removed the check box on all Network connection Finally my problem is solved, iTunes connect normally to store without the annoying error message. Hope this help Good Luck -- husseinadra |
