Default Vista Sharing stopped!

I'm really confused. My Vista VMC "recorded TV" foldrer is no longer
available to other computers on my network. File sharing in VMC is enabled.
Full permissions are set for Everyone, Anonymous Logon, etc. Mapped drives
now return "Access Denied". Nothing changed that I know of from one day to
another.

I can see the VMC computer, I can open the "shared folders", but I can not
access any other folders that I have shared. I have tried everything I can
think of or read about. My Win XP server and shared folders are available to
all computers on the network. Checked all the forums, rebooted all PC's
multiple times, much time wasted.

HELP!!!!!

First check both Sharing (network access) and Security (local and network
access) settings. Are you using Password Protected Sharing enabled (aka XP and
Advanced File Sharing), or PPS disabled (aka XP Simple File Sharing)?

Then look at all firewalls and other security components. Have you loaded any
new software? What antivirus product do you have?
