lordgibby0;982786 Wrote: i got over the DPLAY.dll error by downloading the dll file separately and putting it in c:\windows\system 32. but now i have big problems with screen resolution. no matter what size i have set it to be, or whether it is supposed to be window or full screen, the game always comes up in full screen as a small narrow monochrome picture at the edge with flickering around the edge of the screen. help! anyone know what it is or how to fix it? It's your video card being too good for the game. Go to the folder where the files are kept and right click on each application, select properties, and run it in compatibility with Windows XP or earlier, and run in 256 colours and 640x480 resolution. That's how I got mine to look normal. -- AshidoYukira |
