I deleted my lan connection under Control Panel Network Connections.
When I plug a cable to my laptop, nothing happens. No connection. There are only wireless and bluetooth connections in Network Connections. How to restore it? |

I am not sure how you delete the connection, but can you check devise
manager to see any error or red !? -- Bob Lin, MS-MVP, MCSE & CNE Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on http://www.ChicagoTech.net How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on http://www.HowToNetworking.com "zorg" wrote in message ... There are only wireless and bluetooth connections in Network Connections. I tried to reproduce your situation in order to help you. But I don't manage to delete the LAN-connection. The "Delete"-option is and stays grayed, whatever I try to do. The only thing I can do is "deacitvate". So, please let us know what exactly you did. Axel |

My bad.
I have these power plan options on my laptop. It was on power saver mode and then it hides lan for saving power. The only way to get back is to plug the power cable, because only switching between power saving modes doesnt help. "zorg" wrote: I deleted my lan connection under Control Panel Network Connections.
