Hi,
I recently bought a new HTPC with 32-bit Vista Ultimate.. Network access Internet/LAN is extremly slow, just copying a bunch of files 1 GB takes days. I am having other Vista boxes on the network and they have good performance. The router and switches on my LAN are all Vista Certified... I have tried to disable Window Auto-Tuning as per: http://blogs.msdn.com/wndp/archive/2...-on-vista.aspx Does anyone have a solution/idea on what to do? Regards /Oscar |

I have tried everything mentioned in that article, including the
patch/update. When I run the installer the setup informs me that "The update does not apply to your system". I am guessing that the Realtek drivers are the issue, I have Intel NICs in all other machines... In the problem box there is a: Realtek RTL 8110SC present... /Oscar "Robert L.
