Installation terminates abnormally
I have tried multiple times to install Vista RC1 on a machine that previously
had Vista Beta 2. I downloaded the iso file and burned it to a DVD twice, once using Roxio and once using Nero. Neither disk will install. The message I get when the installation terminates is: The installation was canceled Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code 0x800706F8 From searching the web I see that many people are getting this error. Is anyone reading this newsgroup having this problem. If Microsoft is monitoring this newsgroup, do you have a solution. This is not an isolated issue and it is causing a lot of negative feedback.
