hi, i'm havnig a trouble with network in vista.
my situation is kind of hard to understand, but i know what i'm talkin about, so please be patient with me. on the right bottom, if i put my mouse on the network icon, it basically says that the window has failed to connect, and that the information is invalid. (my labtop is in korean language, but i briefly translated) and as it is disconnected and the info is invalid, it has the X sign on it in red. but my internet works. my local one is connected, and so is my wireless. (both works) i know this because the internet works, and i looked at the driver setting by rightclicking 'my computer' and checked my drivers from 'manage my drivers'. but wat bothers me is that i cannot get access to network. and i mean the folder network. i cannot go to control panel, and access to network. i cannot right click the network icon on the botttom right and access to the network. when i try to, new window (the one thats supposed to display the network settings) freezes and comes out blank. i have to use control + alt + delete to stop the freezing. other examples would be when im downloading something When i try to download soemthing and choose where to download it on, if i click on network, that window freezes. it simply cannot open anything about network. please help.....this is frustrating. i dont know whats wrong. its not a virus. i know it. and ma internet still works...but i cannot change any settings through it because the window simply freezes when i rightclick the network and click property. please help! |
