Default Locating or making a new passphrase

I recently installed a wireless network. Then my internet provider offered me
ultra high speed internet, but I would have to change to a giga setup. I
cannot remember my passphrase, so I cannot instal the new router. Because I
have had the old router about 3 weeks, I cannot goback and do a system
restore - I tried that. Is there any way to delet my old network and then set
up a new one. I am almost at my wits end!

I'm a bit unsure why remembering the passphrase for the old router has
anything to do with installing a new router. In any case, you set the
passphrase on the router, not the computer. You don't need to do
anything with your network except possibly enter a different passphrase
for wireless connectivity if you change it.

You don't need to run any software to install a router, although it can
make things easier. To configure a router, just attach a computer to it
with an ethernet cable, open a browser, and put in the router's IP
address in the browser's addressbar. It will look something like this:

http://192.168.1.1

Then enter the router's default user (if one is required) and password
and that will get you to the configuration utility. Refer to the router
manual for more details.

You set your wireless security (which includes the passphrase) in that
configuration utility.

If you need more help, please give a better description of what you are
trying to do with what equipment.
