Hi,
Problem: Vista client (in workgroup mode) does not show local users for adding permission on folder from a share on a NT or 2003 standalone server (in workgroup mode). Both client and server are in workgroup mode. Both contains same user and password. I was able to map the share successfully. But when I tried to add permission for other local users, I only get the built-in security principals if all three objects are selected on the "Select Users or Groups" dialog box. When only "Users" is selected, I get the following error: The following error prevented the display of any items: Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowd. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again. I did only one map drive to the share. Thanks, Hoa |
