Default using XP remote desktop to control a Vista Home machine?

I'd like to ask some people about this before I invest / waste the time
trying to do it myself, so here goes.

Is it possible to use remote desktop to control a vista Home machine from an
XP Professional machine?

My laptop has XP pro on it, and my new home machine has Vista Home on it. Is
this even possible?

Vista Home can't be a RDP host. You would need a 3rd party solution.

I suggest UltraVNC in this case...
