I'm on a new cable internet service my firewall is McAfee and in McAfee my
file sharing is turned off. However in my Network and Sharing Center in Windows Vista is says file sharing is on. When I click on file sharing in Network and Sharing Center it says go to your firewall software to turn off file sharing. So I did that but of course in Network and Sharing Center it still says file sharing is on. In McAfee though file sharing is definitely off so that at least is good but can anyone on my network still access my system or not? Since Network and Sharing center is still saying that file sharing is on. I don't want to share any files at all on my computer so having a hard time with McAfee and Windows Vista. Windows firewall is turned off so McAfee is handeling that. |

If Network and Sharing Center says sharing is turned on, then it's on. McAffee just stops it. To completely turn off sharing, you need to turn it off in Network and Sharing Center. -- dzomlija ____________________________________ Peter Alexander Dzomlija Do you hear, huh?
