I ran a defrag on a set of folders that contained some network shares. All
Vista clients with offline folder setups for those network shares have lost all access to those shares. Every file setup for offline access now reports "Access Denied". I have tried disabling and reenabling offline folders, formating the offline folder database, but hasn't worked. My Vista clients have permanently lost all ability to use offline folder with that server. They've been forced to use normal access, which works fine. Any XP clients using offline folders remain totally unaffected. Ideas? |

FYI for anybody interested: Disabling encryption for offline folders cache
in the GPO bypassed the issue. "Andy" wrote in message ... I ran a defrag on a set of folders that contained some network shares.
