It is normal as you add programs, etc. for the computer to slow down.
But you can still do some simple cleanup to help.
First go to the the Accessories folder in the start menu and then to System Tools.
Select Disk Cleanup and make sure it deletes Temporary files.
Next go to Windows Defender and then the "Tools" menu item.
On the Tools page, choose Software Explorer
Look at what programs are loading and running in the background.
You will need to keep your antivirus/spyware software running (including Windows Defender)
but check the other programs in Google for advice on having these run.
Most of these background programs do not have to running all the time, you can start them when you need or want them.
