Adam,

I'm taking a wild guess that you have a motherboard based on an nVidia
chipset. The nVidia chipset drivers for Vista, to date, have SMART
disabled. There has been no ETA from nVidia as to when this
functionality will be restored to the drivers.

JB,

I believe, the Nvidia 15.08 chipset drivers have SMART enabled. I have them
installed for my NForce4 motherboard, and I have a SMART configuration option
in the Nvidia Control Panel.
