Default Advanced Networking has Stopped Working

Every time I start my computer I get an error message saying "Advanced
Networking has Stopped Working"...then a message says that Windows is
searching for a solution which of course there never is one. I am running
Windows Vista Business edition on a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop. Can anyone help
me out?
