Default Networking between Windows Vista and XP

I have 2x computers as follows: (1) Windows Vista with internet connection
sharing.
(2) Windows XP. I need to conect (2) to (1) via their seperate Wireless
Network Conection's without a wireless rooter in between. This all went wel
until i had to try to conect (2) to the internet via (1)'s internet
connection sharing. I even disabled (1) and (2)'s firewall settings but
nothing works! Can someone HELP!!!!

Using ICS, with an adhoc WiFi connection between the ICS server and client, is
tricky. ICS is bad enough; ICS with WiFi is worse, and ICS with adhoc WiFi is a
pain.

Look at logs from "ipconfig /all" for both computers, and compare.

And define "nothing works". What can you not do, or what do you see that you
don't like?

Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
