I am trying to create a new inbound connection on a vista home premium and it
is failing. i go to services and try to start Routing and Remote Access Service in the Services MMC. Routing and Remote Access fails to start. I can configure just fine on a vista ultimate pc - it takes two seconds. Is there some parameter that must be configured on the home premium edition? I ran the command to reset the tcp/ip stack and still recieveing same error. Any ideas? There is this application named avast which came preinstalled - it is antivirus. I have not tried uninstalling that and that will be my next step. |
