I have installed the 802.11g desktop card, in my desktop pc running Windows
Vista Home premium. I have then set up an ad-hoc network, and successfully connected my Notebook pc (Compaq pressario with Vista basic and inbuilt LAN). I cann access files between both pc's, without any problems. I have wireless next g broadband connected to the Desktop pc (Host), which is only accessible from the host computer. I am unable to connect to the internet from the remote pc. I have checked the internet sharing option on the host computer. I have tried the windows diagnose and repair. What else should I try? As I think the problem lies within the settings somewhere. -- brightones |

Posting the results of ipconfig /all on both computers may help.
