Is it telling you there are no networks in the area? Have you double
checked the physical wireless power switch (and any software power switch)? Do you have any other wireless software installed? --- Jeffrey Randow Windows Networking MVP 2001-2006 http://www.networkblog.net On Mon, 12 Nov 2007 10:38:04 -0800, aldo30 wrote: I have reinstalled drivers used restore points there is networks my other laptop finds them ok. No. I mean't is it it telling you:
"No Wireless Network in Range" or is it some other type of error? Also, you might want to double check the power switch for wireless. I have never seen a laptop that doesn't have one anywhere. Do you see the wireless adapter in Device Manager (right click on Computer and select Manage). --- Jeffrey Randow Windows Networking MVP 2001-2006 http://www.networkblog.net On Tue, 13 Nov 2007 04:07:01 -0800, aldo30 wrote: There is a network mate the laptop has not got a switch an it says it is on in windows. Glad you found a solution. Note that most (but not all) laptop
internal wireless cards can be replaced. --- Jeffrey Randow Windows Networking MVP 2001-2006 http://www.networkblog.net On Thu, 15 Nov 2007 05:25:01 -0800, aldo30 wrote: TRENDNET TEW-421PC PCMCIA Card WiFi 54 Mb compatible with router. and it works ok now!!!!
