Default No response from network and sharing center

When I try to open the network and sharing center, the response is either
nothing or extremely delayed (minutes) if it does work. Sometimes it works a
little better if I have the task manager open. If I do have the task manager
open it will say "network flyout" and then disappear. This is extremely
aggravating because I can't change network settings or the network I am
connected to. Thanks for the help

I'm having the exact same problem.. and apparently Vista doesn't want me
fixing it, because I could not access this page from my vista box.

I don't know how to fix it, but you're not alone buddy!

This post may help. Please post back with the result.

Network and sharing center freezes ...Restart Vista. 7. When Vista has
restarted, log in and try to display the Network and Sharing Center. On
this laptop, that command fixed the problem ...

Robert,
I don't get it. What command?
It looks like you just restart vista and login. I have the symptoms
mentioned but re-loggin in doesn't fix anything.
I must be missing something.

I would guess that you have read the heading but not actually read the
linked topic .
Those extracts can be confusing :-)
