I had to reinstall Windows Vista Ultimate which prior to the reinstall
had
SP 1 installed.
After this reinstall SP1 does not show in computer properties.
Is SP1 still available somewhere on the computer for upgrading or will I
have to use Windows Update to apply it ?
Your help please,Richard

If looking at System in Control Panel or running winver from the Search
bar
on the Start Menu shows no Service Packs, then your installation media was
RTM.

You will need to install Service Pack 1 and then Service Pack 2.
Unfortunately, there's no way to shorten the process. I would just
download
both Service Packs instead of doing it from Windows Update if you have a
fast Internet connection.
