I have the same error on Vista home Premium with my Samsung YP-K3J mp3
driver. will the same instructions work???? -- Carol S "computerpro2" wrote: Ok, Firstly do the following 1. go to "Device Manager" 2. Locate your CD/DVD Device 3. Right Click on your CD/DVD Device and select "Uninstall" from the context menu. Do not scan for hardware changes just leave it unistalled. Then do the following if the registry key(s) re-appeared in the registry. 1.)Open regedit (Start Run Type Regedit) 2.)Browse to the following: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}] UpperFilters (Delete This Entry) LowerFilters (Delete This Entry) 3.)Delete the entries for UpperFilters and LowerFilters (If you don't have one of them that's ok) 4.)Exit regedit and reboot. Then this should work out just fine for you.... Let me know if it doesnt. |
