Double check to make sure that the "Remote Access Connection Manager
Service" is enabled and running.

This service is not running and when I try to start the service I see this
error message:

Windows could not start the remote access connection manager service on
local computer.

Error 126: The specified module could not be found.

And I have this event ID

Event 20063 RasMan

Remote Access Connection Manager failed to start because the Point to Point
Protocol failed to initialize. The specified module could not be found

Tx for your help

There is a (possible) solution, but I am not prepared to post it here
because of the ramifications.

Try running "sfc /scannow" first to see if there are any errors on
your system.

Then, if you want, google the error message below and you can get
someones solution to the problem.
