Mouse & Keyboard don't work after Update
Ink-J;520046 Wrote: what if i don't have install disk and recovery CD? i have bought a new PC that already had Vista preinstalled. If you don't have either an install disk or recovery disk, then either the shop you bought the computer from has ripped you off with pirate software, or you need to check the documentation of the computer for the key sequernce to use during BIOS POST to access the hidden "Recovery Partition", which is a common scheme employed by manufacturers to minimize costs. -- dzomlija ____________________________________ Peter Alexander Dzomlija Do you hear, huh? Mouse & Keyboard don't work after Update
I have this same problem, with a multi-boot system. So, the system restore
method is not going to work any longer because I booted into XP and that erases your restore points, I did not know this at the time. Just wanted to see if they worked in that. So, I've been searching for awhile now to try and find another way to get this working but have found nothing. The mouse and keyboard work fine in the BIOS, XP, Kubuntu and the Vista disc, but not at the login screen on Vista. So, I think that I'm S.O.L and have to reinstall Vista. If anyone knows of another way this would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Just got Crysis and want to play it on Vista with DX10. |
