Default Vista Business loses internet connection

I have a new PC that was upgraded from Vista Home to Vista Business before I
took delivery. The computer is connected to a home network that has a total
of 10 devices connected (5 computers and 5 TiVos). 3 computers are connected
by wire, the 5 TiVos are connected by wire and I have 2 laptops that are
connected via wireless. The only computer that loses connection is the new
one that is connected directly to the Verizon router (FiOS). Sometimes I am
able to go a couple of days and sometimes only a few hours before I lose
connection. When the connection is lost none of the other devices lose their
connection. I have to reboot the computer to regain my internet connection. I
have Webroot SpySweeper, TrendMicro AntiVirus 2007 and Windows Firewall is
enabled.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can try to fix this problem?

Thank you in advance.

I have Vista Home Premium on a Sony Vaio Laptop bought in June, 2007... it
does the same thing. I have all the updates, etc. I think mine loses it, but
my wife doesn't lose hers. I have to restart to regain my internet
connection. No amount of disabling or repairing works. I have both wired
and wireless and the they BOTH lose it at various times. I have AVG
antivirus. I run the Defender in the background and no telling what else
Microsoft has going on. My whole security system is enabled. Help.
