Compare the permissions in the Sharing and Security tabs on all 3 XP
computers. -- Bob Lin, MS-MVP, MCSE & CNE Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on http://www.ChicagoTech.net How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on http://www.HowToNetworking.com "John Gramling" wrote in message ... Have a small home network running 3 desktops with XP Pro and a laptop with Vista Home Premium. All of the XP machines can see and interact with the laptop running Vista. The laptop can see and interact fine with two of the desktops and demands a non-existent username and password to access the third desktop. I have tried everything, all to no avail. Can anyone help? |
