I think part of Superfetch is basically the same as Bootvis, i.e.
reorganising the way files are laid out on the HD.

Thanks

Maybe I don't really understand what bootvis is, having never used it. I
understand it monitors load itmes for drivers and the like, allowing you to
see what is hanging or slowing down your boot times. (among other things)

The event logs in Vista will give you that information.

Thanks for the info.

Any way to reset the degredation value? I am getting lots of warning and
error events, but they all have the degredation value set to false. They are
an over view of startup times (153186ms) and shutdown times (49609ms).

CHECK THIS OUT! standby duration (hibernation) (806252ms)

Only one entry indicates degridation
Persisting disk caches was slower than expected:
Name : FlushVolumes
Total Time : 8132ms

I doubt there will be another version.
My understanding was many incorrectly used it thus causing more
problems than it solved.

Bootvis = Boot Visualize !!! It doesn't need to automatically solve problems,
just show what is going on!@!!!

Performance logs are JUNK!!!!
