Default Wireless sharing of a dial up connection

I have a Belkin 802.11g wireless router, I now need help trying to get my
dialup recognised by my router so that my laptop can access it as well,
strange as it may seem I did actually have the reverse problem.

I have only the windows firewall active and it reportsthe internet as being
unblocked, I have been all the way through the routers page to try and find
a way but no luck.

I would like assistence with this, here is anotherone for Sparky TMS, try
and solve this one ??????

Thankyou in advance

Default Wireless sharing of a dial up connection

My system is running vista home basic, most of the information on the page
is for previous version of windows. I also have one router and a laptop with
a wireless device. I have the network mode up and running, not i am trying
to get dialup connected to the router as well.

Hello Ben,

I'm not sure if I could 100% understand your current situation, please see
my a breif summary below.

I assume that there are two places, A and B. A is the router location, B is
the computer location, you want to connect to the Place A, which is router
location via dial up. Is that right?

Default Wireless sharing of a dial up connection

Desktop - Windows Vista Basic, Belkin wireless router connected to LAN Card,
Internal Modem
Laptop - Built In Wirless Conection

Trying to get my laptop to access my dialup connection on my desktop via the
wireless router. I have been able to ad-hoc the connection but it seems to
me to be dropping out after a period of time, thus would like th access my
dialup via wireless router.

Hope this helps
