Default timeline playback in windows movie maker

how come the video clips on the timeline won't play back? they play back
when i click on the individual clips from imported footage folder but i'm
unable to play the timeline.

help!!

Default timeline playback in windows movie maker

I got the same problem of play back when I run Movie Maker and open a
previously saved project. The trick I used to make it work is

1) go to the last clip on the timeline, cut it.
2) position the marker just after the new last clip, past the clip which has
been cut.

Everything is back to normal. But it's a trick, not a clean solution. I hope
that Microsoft will solve the problem.

Default timeline playback in windows movie maker

It is possible that your source files are of a type that do not work well
with Movie Maker and you may need to convert them to a type that works in
WMM. Have a look at this web site for better help:

Default timeline playback in windows movie maker


hi,
im also having a problem with playback in windows movie maker. when i
put video clips onto the timeline when it plays back its jerky and not
clear in the preview screen however one i have published it it plays
fine in window media player
