I have an older Buffalo AirStation router -- WBR2-G54S. I have been using it
with my Windows XP desktop for home wifi. I just bought a new desktop and wonder if this router will work with Vista? Or do I need to buy a new router? FYI, I have been getting online with my new Vista laptop for 6 months, no problem. Thanks for any assistance. |

Carla, check at the Router's manufacturer's website, to see if it is
compatible and/or if they have updated firmware for you to download to make it vista compatible. If it is no to both options above, you will have to buy a new one. check
http://winqual.microsoft.com/HCL/Pro...=v&cid=712&g=d and select Buffalo as the manufacturer. if not listed, check the Buffalo site for the latest firmware. (just because it isn't listed doesn't mean it definitely won't work). try using it and see what results you have.
