Vista is unusually slow when saving files to a network.
I'm not sure if this is an microsoft office problem or a vista problem.
On some files, not unusually large, it takes several seconds to save the file. (15-20 seconds or longer is not un-common) I turned file-syncing off, thinking this was the problem, but no. Windows 2000 is the server, Vista 32 bit is the workstation, Office 2007 is the application

Vista is unusually slow when saving files to a network.
You may want to disable the automatic adjustment for the TCP window size.
