I have a machine that has suddenly stop working with the wireless devices. I
found that the WLAN AutoConfig fails to start with an error of 2148270086. I have not been able to find any reference as to what the error really is indicating or how to get the service back to where it was working. Thanks, Gary |

what's the last thing you did before the WLAN AutoConfig failed?

It's actually my son's laptop, but looking through the event viewer, it
stopped working about the time he loaded Adobe Acrobat Reader on and a Microsoft update, but I've removed both without a positive result. I've done further debugging on this issue and found that the WLAN log shows
that the wlansvc is failing on an RPC error of 1702, but I don't know what handle it is looking for. Further errors in the log show the profile manager is failing. Any help would be appreciated.
