Default Real dvds wont play

well i just got my computer 3 months ago.. it was all going fine and now i
cant seem to play dvds in media center, i get this message. "the vdd may be
in use by another application if all other applications are closed, viedo
resolution may need to be lowered or dislplay connection may not support play
back of dvd". i try windows media and another message pops up saying
""Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with
digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder and video card. Try
installing an updated driver for your video card.
