I use to share my disc with a couple of computer with the Vista Adv.
Firewall set to "Allow only secure connections" and preshared key as IPsec authentication method. I would like to use the user certificates method in IPsec and of course I don't have an official certificate. Is there somebody who can teach me how to generate a personal certificate and share this certificate with the other computers? Thanks in advance, Riccardo |

Windows 2003 Certificate Authority:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...i/default.mspx How to install a CA: http://www.petri.co.il/install_windo...er_2003_ca.htm If you aren't in a server environment, cert-based security becomes MUCH more problematic. You may be able to get OpenSSL to create a valid certificate, but I haven't seen anyone be successful with this. You also might want to post this on the security group... --- Jeffrey Randow Windows Networking MVP 2001-2006 http://www.networkblog.net On Sat, 1 Dec 2007 10:00:58 +0100, "Riccardo" wrote: I use to share my disc with a couple of computer with the Vista Adv.
