Default Copy Folder Full on (D:) drive

I have been burning pictures to a CD in the DVD RW drive of my Toshiba
laptop. I just started getting a message that reads "There is not enough
space on Oct 28 2007. You need an additional 486 MB to copy these files."
And this is in a window called Copy Folder. Now Oct 28 seems to be the name
of the DVD RW Drive (D. I don't know how it got that name but that's what
it says everytime I go to computer and check out the (D drive. I'm
thinking that some temporary memory that helps in the burn process is full
but I don't know where to go to find it and clear it out. Help!
