Default Cannot accesss survillence camera remotely via web

We have a survillence camera installed at our store. I want to access that
camera remotely so that when i am not able to go on store still i can do
monitor the store.

I have one laptop and one desktop at home. (it is having wireless
connection) The laptop is running windows XP. IF i put windows firewall off i
can access my camera via browser as http://172.147.24.0/

My desktop is running windows Vista (it is having broadband internet
connection). When i try to access camera via browser the screen opens but it
is blank and also IE hangs (I kept windows Firewall off while accessing it).
Can anyone help

Make it an exception in your Windows Firewall.
